There will be a workday at the trails on September 24, 2016 in celebration of National Public Lands Day. 9 AM to 12 Noon. Stay for all or some. We’ll meet at the Blakeney Lane pond entrance to the trail at 9 AM, feel free to come a few minutes early to sign in and
We’re currently updating the website to reflect a restructuring of the Friends of Copperfield Trails group. Nothing big is changing, we’re merely making the website easier for more members to post news and pictures of the trail. You might notice some things out of place for the next few days while we clean up. Thanks
The park cleanup from April of 2016 was a success! There were a few hiccups (including a rain shower almost immediately after the workday started), but the park was still cleaned and the group still managed to get a good picture! Thanks for coming out, everyone!
In late October, storms hit Austin causing flooding and damage all across the city. In our park, it downed some trees and made quite a mess of debris. On November 9th, an emergency cleanup gathering was scheduled to help clear a lot of the mess. Volunteers and Austin Community Service came together to rescue the
The September 28th cleanup workday was a success. We had a turnout of over 30 people helping to clean garbage, mulch trees, clear out dead foliage / branches, and more. Here’s some pictures of the overall event: Thanks for everyone who showed up! A lot of familiar faces and a lot of new ones!

For National Public Lands Day, FCNT is hosting a cleanup event on the 28th of September, 2013 (just a few weeks from now!).
