In late October, storms hit Austin causing flooding and damage all across the city. In our park, it downed some trees and made quite a mess of debris. The September 28th cleanup workday was a success. We had a turnout of over 30 people helping to clean garbage, mulch trees, clear out dead foliage / branches, and more. Here’s some pictures of the overall event: Thanks for everyone who showed up! A lot of familiar faces and a lot of new ones!

For National Public Lands Day, FCNT is hosting a cleanup event on the 28th of September, 2013 (just a few weeks from now!).
